Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf (1882–1941) was an English modernist writer whose novels, essays, and criticism changed the possibilities of narrative. She loosened conventional plotting to follow inner life, shifting perception, and the pressure of ordinary moments. Mrs Dalloway folds memory and the present into a single day, while To the Lighthouse lets time, loss, and family relations emerge through changing points of view.
