Overview

Once a rough-riding cowboy with a reputation in Arizona, Monty has found his way to Canyon Walls Ranch and looks forward to a fresh start. He assumes the name Sam Hill and the quiet life of a hired hand on the ranch, clearing new farming ground and bringing in a richer crop of alfalfa than the widow owner of the ranch could have imagined. It isn’t long before Monty finds himself drawn toward the spoiled and fiery Rebecca, the daughter of his employer. But as he does his best to resist her charms and continues to diligently develop the land, he still lives under the shadow of fear. If his past ever comes to catch up with him, he can’t imagine the terrible consequences it may have to the happy new life he’s forging.
