Had I my mind, he never should set foot again in this cursed house. Where can he have pasted the night? SCENE II. Shark, Trim. Shark. Good morrow, Mr. Trim; good morrow. What up so early? or mould I not rather say, up so late? Trim. Thou mayest say what thou wilst. Shark. I say nothing but good morrow; and surely that merits Mr. Trim's thanks! B Trim.. Trim. Thanks! Shark. Want of sleep makes one peevish. I would swear, his Honor, the Major, did not return home last night, and his ever faithful Trim has remained here watching for him. Trim. The varlet divines every thing. Shark. I conceive--I conceive. Trim. Your servant.--Turning his back, and going. Shark. Stopping him.--Not so, Mr. Trim. Trim. Mighty well.
