The Relationship Between Jewish and Christian Understandings of the Word of God

Examining the use of "The Word Of God" or "Logos" in Judaism and Christianity. The two understandings are quite different and do not arise out of the same tradition. In fact later Jewish writings made sure that there was a widening gap between the two.
