Korkunç derecede iyi kurgulanmış distopik bir roman. Kitapta darbe ile yönetimi ele aldığı gibi kadınların sahip olduğu tüm özgürlükleri elinden alıp zafer ilan etmiş bir ordu yönetimi var. Çocuk doğurabilen kadınların kutsal kabul edildiği ama temel tüm haklarından hatta adlarından bile mahrum bırakıldığı bir düzen düşünün. Kaçmaya çalışırken yakalanan ana kadın karakter, eğitildikten sonra komandonun evine hizmet vermek için gönderiliyor. Ana karakter gibi kısır olmayan sınırlı sayıda kadının asıl görevi anne olma şansı olmayan kadınların orduda yüksek mertebede görevli kocalarına çocuk vermek. Konuşmaları, göz göze gelmeleri yasak ve belli bir renk kodunda kıyafetler içinde görevlendirildikleri evlerde yaşamak zorundalar. Bir anda değişen bu düzene çabucak adapte olmaları dolayısıyla endişe ettiğim ve beni çok etkileyen bir kitap oldu. Dizisi de vardı ona da mutlaka bakmalısınız.
