Before Hamlin Garland won the Pulitzer Prize in 1922 he was just another Midwestern farm boy. Prairie Visions is a republishing of Garland’s “Boy Life on the Prairie” series, which was originally published in 1899 and examines Garland’s formative years on an Iowa farm. The new publishing of Garland’s early work is beautifully complimented by the stunning, scenic photography of John Morris.
