
Judy Garland, born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10th, 1922, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, U.S, was a singer, actress, dancer, and vaudevillian. Judy became an international star during a career spanning 45 years, as an actress in both musical and dramatic roles, as a recording artist, and on the concert stage. Garland received a juvenile Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Special Tony Award, having also been the first woman to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for her live recording, Judy at Carnegie Hall (1961).
