"James Allen's Book of Meditations - For Every Day in the Year" was the original title published in 1913 after the death of James Allen. It was compiled by his wife and spiritual friend - Lily L. Allen. James Allen was an English New Thought writer and the pioneer of the self-help movement. He is the author of many inspirational texts including his most well-known work - "As A Man Thinketh". This book contains the essential points and profound insights of all of Allen's contemplations, writings and practices. It also contains practices for three hundred and thirty-five consecutive days and can be used in conjunction with another work of James Allen - "Morning and Evening Thoughts", which contains daily contemplation and practice prompts for every morning and evening for thirty-one days (one month).
