
Ruth Elizabeth "Bette" Davis, born on April 5th, 1908, Lowell, Massachusetts, U.S, was an actress in movies, TV, and stage. With a career spanning 60 years, Davis is regarded as one of the greatest actresses in Hollywood history. She was well-known for playing unsympathetic, sardonic characters, being famous for her performances in a range of film genres, from contemporary crime melodramas to historical and period movies, suspense horror, and occasional comedies, but her greatest successes were her roles in romantic dramas.
