A unique version with 24 illustrations from original publications. The fourth book in the Arsène Lupin collection 813 is a detective novel by Maurice Leblanc, featuring the adventures of Arsène Lupin, gentleman burglar, published in 1910. The enigma of 813 opens with the theft and murder of a wealthy South African diamond dealer, Mr. Rudolf Kesselbach. The crime was apparently committed by Arsène Lupin since we find his bloody card pinned on the deceased. A cigarette case is found, marked with the initials LM. Another murder occurs when fetching the object. And then a third assassination occurs, as Chapman, Mr. Kesselbach's secretary, witnesses the scene.
